Hello, world
- #meta
I keep writing the same things in Slack DMs and private notes. Time to put them somewhere I can link to.
I run Blask, a data company for iGaming, and most of what I learn doing that lives in my head or in 400-something Obsidian notes nobody else can read. Writing in public forces crystallization. If I can’t write it clearly, I don’t know it.
Twitter is useful but wrong for this. Short form is good for takes; it’s bad for the kind of reasoning that needs a few paragraphs to get honest. Long form forces you to stand behind what you’re building toward. If I write it here, I can’t walk it back by next Thursday.
Notes on iGaming data infrastructure and product decisions, retrospectives on what Blask shipped and why, the occasional essay on the squishy parts of running a company as a first-time founder. Nothing that fits in 280 characters.
